What is Hyaluronic Acid ?

Component of skin tissue that is used in skin-care products as a good water-binding agent. Hyaluronic acid is a sugar compound that is present in all of your connective tissues. It.s found in high concentrations in your skin. When in gel form, it binds to water and provides volume to fill in large folds of skin around your mouth and cheecks. A form of it has already been approved in Canada, Europe and Australia as a wrinkle filling agent. (via injections)

Hyaluronic acid is a good natural moisturizing factor. There has been plenty of research done on natural moisturizing factors.
