Step By Step Instructions to Beautiful SkinSkin Care for Dummies
It's never too late to start taking proper care of your skin. If you're getting a bit older, maybe you've started noticing a few wrinkles, dryness or dark spots and you really don't like it at all. If you're still on the young side, maybe you've decided to never let your face ever reveal its true age. Whatever the case, all you need is an excellent daily skin care routine to make your face look its best regardless of how old you might be.
The first step in proper skin care is to make sure you select high quality skin care products. You'll want facial cleansers, toners, and moisturizers which are gentle on your skin and have ingredients in them which allow your skin's natural beauty to shine through
A comprehensive and complete skin care product system is very important to have in your daily routine, and you will be rewarded with younger, healthier looking, more beautiful skin in the end.
Step One: Cleansing. Your skin needs to be cleaned, but not stripped and scrubbed. Most bar and liquid soaps are harsh on your skin. They strip away essential oils and lipids your skin needs to stay soft and supple, and can quickly create dryness, itching, rashes, and a variety of other skin irritations.
So you'll want to choose a facial cleanser that is gentle. One that contains antioxidants such as Vitamin C will help enrich the skin's natural softness and suppleness.
Step Two: Moisturizing. Using a high quality moisturizing body lotion on your entire body is essential to keeping it looking beautiful. Many women only use moisturizers on their face and neck, but your legs, feet, hands and everywhere else can benefit from a really good moisturizer too.
As soon as you get out of the shower, pat yourself most of the way dry - don't rub completely dry though, because you'll want to leave some moisture to be absorbed further into your skin - then apply high quality moisturizer with antioxidants and vitamins to help nourish your skin. Putting this on while you're still partially damp helps provide more of the moisture your skin needs to stay looking healthy and young.
If you have problem spots such as rough elbows or feet, you'll want to apply a specialty oil such as Dremu oil, which is designed just for those tougher skin problems.
Step Three: Apply eye toning cream around your eyes. "The eyes are the window to the soul" so they say, and they're right. Fine lines develop around your eyes sometimes before they show up anywhere else, and this makes you look older. But putting on a high quality eye toning cream each day, you'll help lift your eyes, remove the puffiness, and over time reduce those wrinkles.
Step Four: Apply a daytime facial moisturizer with sunscreen protection. Even if it's not summertime and even if you work primarily indoors all day, your face gets more sunlight exposure than you might realize. Just from going out to lunch, driving to work in the car, or walking from your car into a shopping center, your face is being exposed to the sun. So use a high quality moisturizer for your face which is designed to help protect from sun damage right from the start.
Your facial moisturizer should also contain antioxidants and vitamins, plus provide a collagen boost to help reduce and prevent fine lines and wrinkles. Our bodies produce collagen naturally, but this production decreases as we get older. So having a moisturizer which helps boost that production will help keep us looking much younger. We think Daylight is the best facial moisturizer.
At night... Step Five: Use a good quality gentle facial cleanser to remove all of the makeup you wore during the day. Removing the makeup completely allows your face to breath, and allows your pores to be unclogged and cleansed completely. This will help prevent acne breakouts. We think whistle is the best facial cleanser.
